Discipline: MTB
Joseph went on his first club ride at the start of semester 2 in his first year on a borrowed bike. Before uni Joseph was always interested in cycling but never had anyone locally who was into it. After starting uni he hasn’t stopped since... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Joseph says: “If you're new and nervous of joining, don't hesitate because mountain biking has one of friendliest community’s I’ve ever experienced from any sport, and that doesn't exclude us! I'm all about helping people get better on a bike if I can, and getting better myself as well.” |
Disciplines: Road, Track and The Sesh

Matt joined the club back in September 2017 and over the last year has seen huge improvements. This season he started racing and quickly progressed gaining his 3rd cat licence. Coach
Tarn Fynn
A few years ago Tarn joined the club with little cycling experience, coming from an international skiing background. He enjoyed a successful 3 years representing the club at a national level.
After graduating Tarn continued his success on the road and achieved his 1st category racing license last week, racing for team crimson performance.
Last year we welcomed Tarn back onto the team as our coach and since then he has helped us achieve two very close 4th place finishes in the men’s and women’s team sprint in BUCS track.
We look forward to working with Tarn over the next year and using his experience to build on our results from the last year.
