The University of Manchester Cycling Club (UMCC)

We are a friendly and engaging club which is open to all University of Manchester students and alumni. We encourage participation in all disciplines within cycling and welcome all abilities, from novices to elite riders.

There are several road and mountain bike rides each week, with the opportunity to visit the Manchester Velodrome for track sessions, head to Europe for training camps, and on weekend trips within the UK. 

We compete in local races on the road and on criterium circuits, we also have the opportunity to compete in all cycling BUCS events.

What a weekend . We had 3 riders at BUCS road race on Saturday but the real fun came at the crits on Sunday. Multiple Manchester riders raced each event with @benchristian_1 taking 5th in the men's E/1/2/3, @maynard.rebecca 11th in the womens E/1/2/3/4 and @jamie_wiley_ 2nd in the men's 3/4, all along with fantastic team racing by all of our riders .
